Hey y'all! Long time no speak huh? I sure do miss the blogging community! I decided to get myself in gear and draft a post to showcase some of the things going on around here. Needless to say I'm so thrilled that this summer is behind us but I'm desperately wanting the temps to cooperate and act like they're supposed to this time of year! We're currently moving things over to the new (old) house and that just blows my mind. This has been such a labor of love project but also such a whirlwind year with everything that has gone down. With that said, how about a quick catch up sesh? First and foremost, Miss Andi finished her very last chemo therapy session on 9/18 and now she is about to have a follow-up CT scan, Echo cardiogram and ultrasound and also schedule the removal of her port. After that we'll move to an every 3 month follow-up and CT scan schedule for the next two years. God is good and we are so thankful for her current state of health and happiness. (Her hair is even steadily growing back already!) Thank y'all for sticking with us throughout this journey and for always sending us support and prayers. I'm not sure what we would have done without y'all.
As for the reno progress, I left y'all last time with a partial kitchen and closer install and that was a little over a month ago. Since then, the kitchen is now complete with all cabinetry, counter tops, hardware, back splash and sink in place. The butler's pantry is also complete and one of my favorite spaces ever! The closet is complete minus the glass top for our jewelry display on the island and the master shower glass is also completely installed. We have some of our furniture in now including end tables, night stands, some of the beds and rugs. Paint is touched up, trim has been caulked and really other than the closet island top construction, we are TOTALLY ready to move in! (I even have our internet service switching over in a few days so its getting pretty serious haha) I'm not sharing upstairs pictures just yet because at the moment it isn't vacuumed and all the beds are empty - no bedding looks horrible am I right? After next week I'll start to compile pics for the complete home tour including before and afters! Here are a few (crooked and terrible iphone) pictures of the home thus far:

Projects left to complete: List current house and finish touch up painting and back deck, front porch railing at the new house and under porch coverage (I cannot stand your basic lattice so suggestions are welcome!) landscaping (eventually...), dining table and chairs paint job, china cabinet paint job, buffet paint job (so basically dining room furniture and fireplace makeover), light fixture for wet bar because current one is too small and then just moving the rest of our things over! All of this needs to be done by the first week of December since we've been invited to participate in our town's Holiday House Tour 2019. Whew! Thanks for stopping by!
