Cheers to the weekend ya'll! I can't believe I haven't mentioned this earlier in the week, but this Sunday marks our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY- I had to put it in caps because I really cannot believe this time last year we were gearing up for the 'Best Day Ever'. We don't have something big planned because honey is up for a transfer (temporary) and we won't find out until later today so planning a trip was sort of difficult. We're hoping to get down to the bay house or something soon and will definitely be eating that year old cake (haha) Happy anniversary to us and happy weekend to ya'll! Cheers!

Here's Mom's zucchini bread recipe we used that I promised to share from Monday's post

You'll need:
2 full cups of shredded zucchini (used a cheese grate thingy)
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup or more of pecans or walnuts
3 eggs
2 cups of sugar
1 cup oil
3 tablespoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon cloves

Beat sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla together. Add flour gradually and soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves continuing to beat. Add in zucchini and nuts and beat well. Pour into greased loaf pans (This usually makes 2) and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees- yum!
