Weekending

Whew ya'll! What a weekend! I'd be lying if I didn't say that I was beyond thrilled to stay at home today and not go anywhere at all! I feel like I traveled all over the state but it was such a great weekend. Thursday for my birthday, hubs took me out to one of our favorite seafood places and it was fabulous. Mama also stopped by that day for lunch and showered me with all of my favorite things like food, gift cards, new plants and even fun stuff for baby A. Friday, Miss A went to Mama's for the night and I left for VA Beach for my friend Hillary's shower. We stayed in her beach house that night and it was SO fun having girl time with wine and gossip. (sidenote: my bestie and I stayed up until 3am that night over 3 bottles of wine....yup, we are NOT that young anymore)

Her shower was absolutely beautiful and oh so girly. Baby Olivia is already so loved! The home of the host was absolutely stunning and right on the water. We sipped pink champagne and I got to hold other people's babies. Basically I missed Andi like nobody's business ya'll at that point. Afterwards I headed back home and ended up staying at my parent's house that night basically because I didn't feel like driving anymore and hubs got called away for work. I was finally able to watch Brie Larson in the Room too! WOW to that movie ya'll!

 On Sunday we headed out of town again for another birthday gathering with hubby's family and I was spoiled all over again with cake, wine, new stationary and scarf and a spa gift certificate. It was absolutely fantastic. When I got into bed last night I literally fell asleep the minute my head hit that pillow. Today? I didn't wake up until 9am! (Thank you Miss A) We obviously love our sleep! Overall, turning 29 was everything I hoped it would be so thank ya'll so much for the sweet birthday wishes. I hope ya'll had a fabulous weekend!
