Weekending

WHEW! Ya'll that was a jam packed weekend. I'm looking forward to going to bed early with an Advil pm tonight to just catch up on some ZzZz's. Friday I had an appointment out of town (yearly OBGYN checkup and seeing my Doc and the staff made me miss all the appointments when I was preggo ya'll....does Andi need a sibling?) Also that day, Andi had her FIRST (and super successful) dentist appointment. She absolutely rocked it and hammed it up with everyone there. Afterwards, I dropped Miss A off at my parents and went into prep mode for the Heart of VA festival that was taking place on Saturday. I organized a booth at the festival for our church and we did homemade water bottle labels, handouts and brochures. It was fun and a big hit but definitely took a good 7 hour chunk of time and I was exhausted. Afterwards we had a 30th birthday cookout and I could barely make it to 10pm.

Sunday morning rolled around and I got up early to go pick up Miss A, get ready and head to church. Once church let out we headed home to clean the house (it so needed it) and get things prepped for the week and I realized when your weekend is so busy, you need an extra day! That evening we took Andi to see the 611 steam engine that came through town. Since Hubs is a conductor for the railroad, we headed up to his work for a great view of it. Miss A was definitely impressed! Overall it was great seeing everyone and we had a blast - I'm obviously getting old because being out of routine is just plain tiring! haha!
