Friday Favorites

TGIF ya'll..TGIF. Last night we discovered that our little town has a softball league and since the field is within walking distance we walked with Emma up there to watch the games- excited to maybe join next year! A ton of our friends were there- so fun! As for the weekend, no big plans on my end other than a hair appointment and taking some pictures of the house for you all and relaxing! I know an update is overdue, I'm just the type that wants all the pictures hung and accessories out and some of those things we just haven't gotten to or purchased yet. (I've always been like that- like won't sleep until place is unpacked, etc. etc.) So no complete home tour yet but we are getting there! I'm still in shock that we completed the first floor though!

The hubs leaves today for a bachelor party so it's just myself and Miss Emma Jo tonight #GirlsNight don't forget about DCC making the team episode 2 (woot woot!) Linking up with Amanda from Meet @ the Barre and Karli with September Farm. Have a great weekend ya'll!

I saw a yummy crockpot bbq recipe over on Julie's blog Just the Joys last week and had to try. Ya'll- it was such a huge hit! Spicy and delicious! You can check out her post here and remember you can add anything! We used mustard, bbq sauce, red pepper flakes, different seasonings, garlic, texas pete...have fun with it!

Dowtown Farmville just had this fabulous mural painted to look like modern stained glass on its church and I am in love with it! Love how it makes the church and farmer's market lot so bright!
