Happy Friday loves and cheers to another weekend! Linking up today with the lovely: Christina, April, Darci, Natasha , Amanda over at Meet @ the Barre and Karli with September Farm

I just love Jessie Decker and all that she does basically so this video I saw on VH1 made me laugh out loud! She decides to play matchmaker:

Drum-roll please- Heather and the twin girls are officially home ya'll! (after being in the hospital since September!) They went home at the beginning of this week and Mama and babies have been doing fabulous! I've been dying to share the news! Thanks for all of your kind words and continued prayers for these girls!

Ok another drum-roll - I love awards season and red carpets and the Oscars are definitely one of my favs! The list of nominations were just released so go and watch as many as you can! You can check them all out here: 2015 Oscar Nominations List

Ok I THINK...keyword think...Seth and I will see this movie this weekend. He is reading the book now and it really looks intense. However, I watched the extended preview and cried my eyes out people....in the preview! I was destroyed with Lone Survivor and almost needed therapy so seeing this preggo might not be the best idea.... We shall see

25 Week Bumpdate

Thursday, January 15, 2015

How far along? 24 Weeks & 6 days (OMG I accidentally put 25- one day off haha pregnancy brain?)

Size of Baby: 12.5 inches and 1.25 lb

Total weight gain/loss: Biggest jump so far was when I found out I was 5 pounds up at Monday's appointment- yikes! 132 now...

Symptoms: Lower back pain x100 when I try to get comfortable sleeping

Maternity clothes? Ebay is a great source!

Stretch marks? Nope- thank goodness! That line is getting more visible though!

Sleep: ughhh this is the most annoying part- literally back will be fine all day and I'll make myself active on purpose but the minute I get in bed and have to go on my dreaded side it acts up! I'm thinking its our mushy feather mattress. I'm going to strip it off tonight and sleep on the firmer side and see what happens.

Best moment this week: Seeing her move and dance all day is the absolute best. She is still SO active and I'm soaking it all up since she's steadily getting bigger and will have less space to move around.

Miss Anything? Caffeine lately..

Movement: ALL the time! My little crazy dancer!

Food cravings: Anything mango!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show yet: my little short body is nothing but a huge basketball haha getting a little bigger all around all of a sudden

Gender prediction: Girl! Miss Anderson Greer Otey (Andi)

Nursery: Walls are Valspar Mint Mist, Trim is white, tall dresser is in and crib + crib mattress in and set up! Looking to order glider, bookshelf, pink rug and custom valances and then accessories! SO much fun!

Workouts:
Got one walk in with Emma and still doing weights!

Labor Signs: eeek no!

Belly Button in or out? both?

Wedding rings on or off? On but feel bigger- I think that happens in winter though

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Loving this little girl and all the time I've spent with the hubs lately!!

Looking forward to: More nursery progress!

Weekend Fun!

Monday, January 12, 2015

Happy rainy and cold Monday- Yuck! However... it is Bachelor Monday and today is a half day for me since we have an appointment to check on Miss Anderson this afternoon! This weekend was so much fun ya'll- Friday we put Andi's crib together late night and we love it. The mattress is supposed to arrive today and then all I will need to do is hammer down a choice on bedding. (Etsy has been my go-to for some custom looks with decent pricing) Saturday we left for Durham, NC to meet up and stay with the Pecks and it was fabulous (as usual) we went downtown to a new restaurant, visited Joe's office overlooking the baseball stadium, picked up some obligatory scary movies and tons of junk food and Sunday had brunch at Parker & Otis which is my all time fav! Sunday evening we had some friend down from Maryland that we haven't seen in awhile and we were able to spend time with their 8 week old baby girl Miss Tessa! She was absolutely adorable and fantastic and it was pretty neat getting some actual practice in!

Overall it was the perfect weekend in my opinion- good food, friends and time with the hubs for the win! (He's got weekends off for the time being for this particular job and although we don't see each other much during the week, it is great having him to myself all weekend) Linking up today with the lovely Biana from B Loved Boston for:

Maybe a little nursery project??

Tiff gifted me this gem and I'm head over heels!

Friday 5

Friday, January 9, 2015
Ya'll- seriously that was the fastest week ever! I was not expecting that to be the case after a two week break but I'll take it. Seth and I are headed to Durham to hang out with Tiffany and Joe Saturday so I'm really looking forward to seeing them, good food and of course scary movie/craft night (you know, the usual when we all get together) Also doing our little mini Christmas together. I hope everyone has a fabulous and WARM weekend ahead! (9 degrees is not f-u-n)

Linking up today with the usual: Christina, April, Darci, Natasha , Amanda over at Meet @ the Barre and Karli with September Farm

So our crib came last week and the packaging was rather beat up- hubby was scared to open it so we asked them to ship another one which should be here this afternoon. I can't wait to see how much I cry once this thing is set up in her room!

Thank ya'll SO much for all the sweet words about her name! I was so overwhelmed with ya'lls responses and it made my day to hear from each and every one of you! Miss Anderson Greer is already pretty loved I'd say!

If you remember back about a month ago I decided to start watching Gossip Girl just bc A. I've never seen it and B. I wanted a new show I could binge watch since all seasons are old..... ummm it is definitely fabulous and over the top dramatic. Just finished season one! (haha)

My favorite pin this week? Saw this one and got really excited for Valentines Day for some reason. I need to do a cute wreath or something for our door soon. (Can't get enough pink)

So in honor of the Bachelor being back (Mondays are cool again!) and me being head over heels for him- I had to share this picture that two of my friends decided to share with me this week..... mmm mmmm.... here you go ladies (and maybe gentlemen) I'll leave you for the weekend with this perfect human and let me just say that YES..I WILL accept that rose!

Week 23 Bumpdate + Little Miss Has a Name!

Tuesday, January 6, 2015

How far along? 23 Weeks & 4 days

Size of Baby: A large mango- 12 inches according to doc!

Total weight gain/loss: 8.5 total since first appointment at 7 weeks- will know when those dreaded scales are used at next Monday's check-up

Symptoms: Lower back pain...

Maternity clothes? Got some cute stuff over the holidays!

Stretch marks? Searching but nothing yet- whew! There is a faint line starting to appear on my tummy (linea nigra maybe?)

Sleep: ughhh this is the most annoying part. Still getting one good night from being so tired from the one bad night...on and off cycle. I do love sleep though don't get me wrong!

Best moment this week: Seriously ya'll- just SEEING her move around in such unique motions that are expanding and contracting my belly. She doesn't just kick and jab anymore, it is like one fluid movement and it is ah-mazing! Also, she moves CONSTANTLY so I'm always talking out loud to her.

Miss Anything? With the bachelor premiere last night- wine!

Movement: ALL the time! My little crazy dancer!

Food cravings: M&M milkshakes and tangerines

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show yet: my little short body is nothing but a huge basketball haha
Gender prediction: Girl! and I'd like to announce...mmhmm... Miss:

                                          ANDERSON GREER OTEY  (Andi)

I fell in love with this name circa 2003 with a little ole' romantic comedy by the name of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days- Kate Hudson played Andie Anderson and I thought it was the cutest. Most all of our choices for girls were more on the masculine side which probably stems from my name being Jessi as well. Hubby suggested we spell it like mine so Andi will match her Mama. :)

Nursery: Walls are Valspar Mint Mist, Trim is white, tall dresser is in and crib + crib mattress arrives today! Progress progress!

Workouts:
Oh geez... can we say lazy lately and just plain cold outside? Emma and I have not gone on a walk in so long and I've even neglected my weights and squat routines lately...must get back on track!

Labor Signs: eeek no!

Belly Button in or out? In and getting flatter

Wedding rings on or off? On but feel bigger- I think that happens in winter though

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Loving this little girl and all the time I've spent with the hubs lately!!

Looking forward to: Our next appointment and more nursery decorating!

Monday's Are Baaacckk!

Monday, January 5, 2015
Oh my goodness first of all HELLO long lost blogging community! Being disconnected was much needed but man did I miss ya'll and man do I have a lot of catching up to do! Getting a full 2 weeks off and being able to spend so much time at home with my husband for a change was seriously the absolute best! I mean, we were like best buds ya'll haha we did everything together and now I'm pretty sure I'll need to go on some sort of medication for me to make it through a full work day.

A little recap? The weekend was fabulous- I spent Friday night with Heather and got to see her twin girls which was perfect! They are doing so fantastic and are projected home VERY soon so it was great squeezing in another sleepover with them. Afterwards, we grabbed lunch with another college friend and her fiance and talked all things for her upcoming wedding at the end of February (countdown is on!) Sunday we spent the day at the hospital with Seth's grandpa who fell and broke his hip and is recovering from surgery. He is in great spirits and is recovering very well! Deciding on a rehab facility so we can get him home! Prayers appreciated! Afterwards, we grabbed a date night dinner opportunity and headed home.

Nursery progress is in FULL swing now that hubby is officially back in action and I am thrilled with the look of things. We decided on a pale green for the walls to highlight the white trim and white furniture and will be adding TONS of pink accents. We bought an antique dresser and re-painted it so now she has her first antique. We also ordered the convertible Eddie Bauer Langley Crib from Target and it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Can we say bring on the pregnancy hormone tears when hubs is setting that one up?

***Oh- so you might be asking, why are Monday's Baaaccck Jess? Well.... THE BACHELOR STARTS TONIGHT YA'LL! Anyone who knows me knows this is my ultimate guilty pleasure in life. The only thing I'm concerned about this year? Watching the show 100% sober...hmmmm will I even like it as much? (ha!!) I'm so excited for the beautiful farmer Chris and I'll be live tweeting starting at 8pm. (Let's  not forget he favorited one of my tweets last season!)I've also provided a bracket if you want to join in on the fun!***

Anyway I hope everyone had a great weekend and is adjusting to reality better than I am- ugh. Linking up today with the lovely Biana from B Loved Boston for Weekending
