WHW: Currently

Hey ya'll and happy Wednesday! WHW = What's Hap-"Pinning" Wednesday...will it catch? My font is so large on my header so until I change that I'm condensing (haha) Today I'm sharing what has been going on around here lately. Unfortunately Miss A came down with her first high fever and because of the snow, the pediatrician has been closed! Yes closed, I kid you not. She hit a 103.9 and I called the on-call service and they didn't seem to be too concerned.....they just said to alternate tylenol and motrin and keep fluids in her. I'm wondering if teething could be a contender and she did have her first big play-date last week. She has sort of gained an appetite back and is drinking a little more but definitely not her normal amounts. I thought yesterday morning when her temperature dropped to normal she was alright but last night it spiked again. We are taking her to the doc today just in case it is something more serious. Sick babes are seriously heartbreaking ya'll. If you've kept up with us on Snapchat then you've seen how pitiful she's been. Bless her tiny little heart. Send us some wellness vibes if you get a chance to today!

Other than dealing with icky fevers, she turned 10 months and I seriously cannot believe that I just picked up her 1st birthday invites! (which are seriously over-the-top presh!) Valentines day was fantastic - hubby was out of town working but we were able to celebrate yesterday and the grandparents spoiled Andi with flowers, goodies, new clothes and snacks! She was loving every second of it. Also, I've made it a little over a month with my 'natural' dark locks. That means it's fair game for me to go back blonde-sih right? Right? I'm going to wait closer to my birthday so I can call it a happy b-day to me gift before making another appointment. I'm thinking I'll go a shade lighter and do my normal low/high-lights but I'm not positive yet. I've been old-school crushing on Reese circa the Cruel Intentions days for style/cut though. Speaking of Reese, does her quote on monogramming EVER get old? NOPE!

Hey ya'll and happy Friday! Its Valentines day weekend so bring on the corny cards and chocolate am I right? Oh, and how about the 8 degree temps that Virginia is supposed to get on Saturday? Hey ya'll and happy Friiiidaaay! Cheers to Super Bowl weekend! I'm so ready to devour some game-day food and cheer on the Broncos! I'm a Skins fan so I could really go either way on this game but I do like the Manning family so we'll be wearing our orange.

What's Hap-'Pinning' - Style Favs

Hey ya'll and happy link-up day/Wednesday. Please tell me ya'll saw Reese Witherspoon's spread in Harpers Bazaare this month?! It was the best spread I've seen in a long time. The scenery, the clothing and dresses, the hair and makeup, the lighting...everything was seriously perfect! I mean, I clearly have nowhere to wear dresses like that but man Oscar de la Renta and Gucci (to name a few) are killin' it! Also, have any of ya'll checked out her new clothing line Draper James? It's a tad on the pricey side, however, I'm dying to own a piece from one of her collections - preferably a dress so I'm waiting for the Spring to see what she offers up! Let me know if you've purchased something and if you like it. I need a girls trip to Nashville so I can check out the store. Who's in?

Anyway, check out these beauties below. Oh, and this spread alone made me decide to go back blonde. Weekending

Whew, back to Monday already. I actually love Monday's...yup I said I love Mondays. It's a new start to a new week, I enjoy my morning coffee better with Kelly, Michael, Kathy Lee and Hoda AND it is Bachelor night. This weekend was fabulous. The weather warmed up considerably and we were able to get out of the house and stroll the neighborhood. Miss A and I had a girls movie night and watched Pocahontas and Hope Floats since hubs was working and Sunday we had a great day at a church we are considering joining!

Also, I have to share this super simple pie/cheesecake recipe that I seriously cannot stop making. I know, I've tried to start my workout routines for about 3 weeks now but keep um getting distracted...with things like this recipe! Ya'll, it is so easy and so good. Take one 8 oz package of cream cheese, 1/4 cup of sugar and a container of fat free coolwhip. Use an electric mixer to mix those ingredients until smooth/creamy. Spoon that mixture into a graham cracker pie crust (or whatever you prefer) and top with cherry pie filling or any other topping. I then pop it in the freezer for about an hour or 2 or you can just refrigerate. It is SO good and doesn't last very long between the hubs and myself. Yum!
